Montana authorities are searching for a missing woman who vanished from the Glacier National Park.

Jennifer Coleman, of Richmond, Virginia, may have gone hiking around August 30 or 31, around the Logan Pass area. According to Glacier National Park spokesperson Gina Kerzman, park rangers found Coleman’s vehicle in the Logan Pass parking lot but aren’t sure if that’s where she went hiking.

Coleman failed to check out at her designated time at the campsite and reportedly failed to pick up her dogs, the Aware Foundation reports.

“Jennifer had planned on checking out of the campsite the next day. The boarding facility contacted family to let them know that her dogs were not picked up at the designated time.”

Daily Inter Lake reports that the park said search efforts were underway on Friday. Search teams include teams from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, Two Bear Air, the Flathead National Forest. and Flathead County Search and Rescue.

Coleman is described as a white female who stands 5- feet- 6- inches tall and weighs around 128 pounds. She has blue eyes and blond, straight, shoulder-length hair.

Anyone with information on Coleman should call the park’s tip line at 406-888-7077.
